This week I began walking again. In November I had lower back surgery, then had a terrible fall 3 days later and had to have a 2nd surgery and 2 week hospital stay.
In addition to physical traumas, I have been struggling mentally and emotionally with so many things. The depression has felt like a great weight I could not get out from under.
Yesterday was day two of walking and I accomplished 3.5 miles in under an hour. About 1/3 of the way through my walk, I noticed the heart hanging in a tree. It was not there the day before.
I tucked it into my hoodie pocket and let my thoughts turn to how much I am loved. God loves me. I have a wonderful family and so many friends. Those who reject me were not meant to be in my life, at least not in this season.
