Flurry of Hearts

I Found A Quilted Heart has received several reports of hearts being found as the result of a scavenger hunt in Lincoln, CA.  It sounds like there has been a talented and enthusiastic heart sewer who is sharing her talents and hearts with others.  While the I Found A Quilted Heart project does not use a scavenger hunt style for planting hearts (See FAQs) we thought we would post some of the reports received and a collage of the photos sent to us.  (See Below)

It is fun to see young people so creative and active in the community!

Enjoy!

Emily11“1. Date heart was found: Wednesday, August 13, 2014
2. Location it was found: Twelve Bridges Elementary School, Twelve Bridges development of Lincoln, CA
3. Description of how you found your quilted heart: Honestly I feel like I cheated. My neighbor made a whole bunch of these and left them around our development. I knew she had because her mom had posted “hint pictures” on our city’s FB page. I recognized several locations but wanted to leave the fun for someone else. On my way in to work I could see the little red pillow heart still sitting on the bench in front of the school so I stopped and claimed it as mine!”

“I found this gorgeous heart crafted by 11 year old Emily in Lincoln, California at our old Fresh and Easy location. The heart even smells terrific, it has fresh lavender inside.  We were given clues on a community Facebook page.”
