I found my heart on a snowy day while getting my oil changed. It really brightened my day. My grandmother passed a few years ago from cancer that had spread to her whole body by the time we discovered it. Quilting was her passion. I remember going to her house for a week and making pillow cases and quilts with her, among the hundreds she made herself. Being only 17 years old and not having enough memories with her as I would have hoped to, and definitely not enough time, I can whole heartedly say quilting and sewing connects me to her. So as you can imagine finding my quilted heart filled my heart with joy and memories, and I had to fight tearing up. Even though I know someone placed this here for me, I can’t help but feel this was also from her as I have been having a very hard time over Christmas without her. This made my day and I will cherish it forever. Thank you to the kind wonderful soul who made this for me, I will never ever forget it. My heart was found at the big ten mart on JFK in Dubuque Iowa, around 11am. Once again, thank you SO much. ❤
