It was a warm sunny spring afternoon. I was on my way to see the apartment that I was intended to rent. That was two cute, partially enclosed wooden buildings facing one another and has a bridge that connects the two. The whole place was surrounded by trees and bushes, and has LED lights as decoration. As I pass by, I got to see succulents and green plants by the windows. I was just quiet and delightful.

This heart was not far away from the apartment complex. Thanks to my casual habit of smelling flowers along the way (It’s spring! How wouldn’t I?) I found this little cutie camouflaged between the green leaves that I first thought was a blue blossom.

It is greatly appreciated as people are loosing their innocence as we grown older. It’s harder and harder to simply say what we want, to express our curiosities, to make a deeper connection with each other, or to be brave enough to break the boundaries we’ve been socialized into. For many times I imagine something unusual yet anticipated “magic” happening in my life, say if I received a strangers’ snail mail possibly from a foreign country that simply says “Hi (^^).” And sharing tiny bits of their life and we become pen pals… etc.

And it was happening today!

Whoever made it, possibly they live in that apartment complex I visited today, thank you for such an innocent kindness!
