I was visiting my son at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs when I spotted this sweet heart hanging on a fire hydrant, as we were about to leave the base. It is my son’s first year to be training as a cadet at USAFA and he’s my oldest child so it’s been a challenging school year for both of us, in different ways. Finding this heart was such a timely gift from God & the kind person who made it. I will always cherish my patriotic heart that I found in 2023, while learning to let my son spread his wings. ❤️🤍💙
