Our first visit traveling from northern Wisconsin to Kearney Nebraska to watch Sandhill Cranes was in 2017, we traveled with our dog Dakota Rose, aka Rosie. Beloved Rosie passed in 2018 after 15 wonderful years. We loved this area & now in 2023 on our fifth visit back with out two dogs who as puppies were “raised” by Rosie we visited a great park in town, there we found this quilted heart with dogs on it, one of them a beagle like Rosie. It was like a message from beyond, saying hello to us from that great dog who loved her travels in Nebraska & the west. Thank you.
